Yorkshire Riding Centre welcomes all riders to enjoy British Dressage competitions from Intro to Advance Medium level. We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to those just starting in their BD journey to those aiming for championships.

North & East Quest Championship - OPEN TO ALL CURRENT BD MEMBERS

Podium presentations with Premium rosettes and sashes.  My Quest Championship decided by the combined total of both tests at each level. 

North & East Youth Show

The Youth Show offers tests at all levels for Riders who have been assessed in Region for 2025 and are North & East Members. You may not compete at a level you have not been assessed at. 

Squad Champions are determined by Highest COMBINED Marks from 2 tests (one at D) achieved on the day with one set of rosettes, sash and trophy at Each Squad Level D, C, C+, B, B+ & A

Riders at B,B+ and A Squad riding horses aged 5 & 6 (to the end of this calendar year) may ride the Young horse tests at their Squad Level, but riders will all compete as One Squad 

Introductory skills test (Walk & Trot for riders new at D squad, not contesting the D squad test with a set of rosettes

Scores count towards Inter Regional applications & the North & East 2026 Rider League

Online entries only accepted.

In the event of over subscription entries will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Event closing date is the Monday preceding the event.

IMPORTANT:- Late Entry Fee £5. All entries received after the closing date will only be accepted if this fee is included and if space otherwise the entry will be invalid.

We cannot guarantee late entries will be accepted please try to enter before the closing date.

Times

Times will be issued online, on the Wednesday preceding the event from 11am.

Stabling Information
Stabling available;

Day stable £25 with a small shavings bed

Overnight stable £40 for the first night, £20 each subsequent night with a full shavings bed.

x 2 indoor arenas, x 2 outdoor arenas, show jumping and cross country course

Ample parking

Health and Safety

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in any arena/walkway.
No smoking/vaping whilst on site.
Horses must not be left tied to the side of a lorry/trailer unattended.
Horses are not permitted to be lead (in head collars or bridles) around the parking areas/grass areas at any time.
No horses/pedestrians permitted in the court yard of Barolin Farm and Barolin cottages.
No horses permitted in the catering/car parking area at any time.
Doorways of arenas must not be obstructed by pedestrians. Please use the viewing galleries to observe riders. No pedestrians permitted in the working in arenas.
No lunging in any arena. 
Abide by the school rules at all times.
Please do not obstruct the public footpath/bridleway which runs through YRC - this is the drive way and adjacent to the bottom indoor arena. This includes riding/handling your horse in this area. 
It is advised that ALL riders hold their own public liability insurance cover.
